Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience with us. I have to agree the Vegetarian wellington is one of my favourites on the menu and the pie is definitely the locals. Hopefully we will see you again soon and thank...More

The family have eaten there before so we came for family lunch and for myself ordered the burger (which comes with a three pound surcharge). It arrived luke-warm with over cooked (re-heated?) chips and the chef had forgotten the trimmings or to season it. The...More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I was disappointed to read that you had a poor experience. Our midweek £10.95 2 course and £13.95 3 course menu has been very well received locally since its launch early September. We add a...More

Fantastic evening - warm welcome on arrival. We all over the choices on the menu - so different to the usual pub dishes. Vegetarian risotto unusual but excellent. My husband very impressed with the top and bottom pastry pie! Our waitress was attentive and helpful....More

Went here for dinner on a Saturday night - what a gem 😀. Food was excellent, with lots to choose from. Atmosphere was great too, very lively but not too loud. Service was faultless. Will certainly go back, we had a lovely evening.More

Finally eat here, after hearing good things about it. Food was lovely and they were able to cater really well with my 'no dairy' requirements. I had the sardine starter, (as I love sardines) and it was gorgeous, with a lovely salsa. The main chicken...More

The food is OK,the service is very good but its trapped in an "im not sure what i am" scenario. Would i go there for a drink? No. Would I go there for dinner? Yes. But not often. Its not quite worked out its identity.

I have been to this restaurant a few times lately and the food and service have been consistently good. Being disabled, I had some concerns about access but this proved not to be a problem.

We enjoyed the mid-week two-course menu and thought the pub was lovely. The last time I visited here was over 25 years ago and it was nice to go back. Our food was hot and tasty but the restaurant was rather cold. I'd have given...More
