A group of 12 of us were going for a curry and had a couple of pints first. We were asked to be quiet twice (only chatting) and made to feel totally like they didn't want us there despite us putting over £100 behind the bar. Pretentious

Many thanks for taking the time to review us. I do feel that this review is however unjustifiable as we allowed your party of 12 to sit in our dining room due to the lack of tables available in the bar area. At this point we were under the impression we were helping you out. You were asked to quieten... More

Lovely staff that talked us through the massively wide selection of gin and beer on offer! Really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back again soon!

Lived in the area for a few years but never been in before so thought we'd try it out. Fantastic atmosphere inside with a really helpful chap Tommo behind the bar who talked us through the beers on offer. We'd recommend highly & will definitely be back soon!!

I visited the Prince of Wales with my wife and some friends. We only stayed for a quick bite and some drinks. Coming from Greece and being a business owner my self if found the pub very welcoming and inviting. Chrysostomos suggested some nice wine and local beer. Food was very tasty and arrived quick. I would definitely visit again... More

Popped into this establishment for a late lunch yesterday, totally surprised to find my favourite ale on tap and 40 miles from it's source, thought this was all rather promising. And then enjoyed great food, even in the middle of the afternoon, all served by very attentive staff and very reasonably priced too. As (foody) pubs go, this has to... More

We came here for an early family Christmas get together. The service was awful. We were all running about trying to find the waitresses to order desserts, tea, coffee etc after our meal as they didn't return after our first orders. The staff at the bar were swearing at what seemed like other customers and we were accompanied by young... More

Food at this pub is actually quite good but the service is distinctly lacking. Polite but not particularly friendly and generally inattentive and forgetful, I got bored of waiting for a wine list so went to the bar to order. The dining area was cold and not really the sort of cozy environment one would want for a late Sunday... More

Came here for Sunday lunch, food was lovely cannot fault it, however server was not the most happiest person and also suffered with a hygiene problem with the smell lingering every time she came over. However would not put me off coming here again!
