Service was really good. Excellent food. Made to feel very welcome. Wheelchair friendly and tables big enough to accomodate. Reasonable priced menu and good choice on the menu.

We booked here for a party of 12 people, waited over an hour for food- the steak was full of fat, the chicken was dry, the chips were burnt and the service was shocking. Thought we’d give them change to redeem themselves with pudding, waited...More

16 hungry climbers descended on the pub and they coped very well with the large group and other covers. The portions are large but the food is good quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Visited here during a walking break. Lovely friendly pub and with the best steak I’ve had in ages. Opt for it cooked on a hot rock, definitely recommended.

Always friendly and welcoming. Good parking. Great beer and the Sheppys is unbeatable. Hardest decision is whether to go for the rib-eye already cooked to perfection or have a go yourself with the sirloin on a hot rock - tough one.
