I have been coming to Leek to see the in laws for 25 years. Always slightly disappointed that I haven't found a good formalish restaurant. This is a gem. I had been to see this place looking for wedding accom some 20 years ago when it was a bit run down, tired etc. What a great surprise to see the... More

Although living less than ten miles away from Peak Weavers, I had never heard of it until some friends suggested we spent an evening there. The restaurant is almost hidden on a side street in Leek, Staffordshire. Once inside, one becomes aware that the owners have given the former detached town house charm and elegance. Dining is intimate and given... More

Very attentive staff. Nice cosy dining room. Food absolutely divine. Recommend the venison. We opted for a Chardonnay to go with our dinner. Very pleasant and at a very reasonable price. I cant wait to go again. Really enjoyable evening.

When booking a table at the Peak Weavers, it's for the evening, so there is no feeling of being rushed. This is a family run establishment and it shows. The courtesy and level of service singles it out as such. The menu changes from time to time, so one could easily sample a variety of dishes and flavours. Our experience... More

Recently celebrated my mothers birthday at Peak Weavers. Nick and Emma made the event memorable nothing was too much trouble. Everyone commented on how delicious the meal was and generally had a great time. They made the occasion very special and thank you very much. Would highly recommend. Will be returning.

I had tried to book rooms here but they were full, so booked the restaurant for the Friday night of a weekend break with friends. The restaurant is beautifully set out, making the occasion feel really special. The food is exceptionally good, certainly Michelin star quality but without the minute portions or high prices. It was so good we booked... More

We visited Peak Weavers for my wife's birthday after friends recommended it to us. The experience is excellent from your first drink at the bar upon arrival, the staff are friendly and willing to make very good reccomndations. The menu is excellent (using locally sourced ingredients), the wine list also has some excellent quality choices. We had a superb evening... More

Peak Weavers is that "special" place to dine in Leek.Beautifully presented food from a diverse menu in a tasteful setting and all at very reasonable prices. The steak is the best for miles around and my wife's starter of melon with Parma ham with mango and kiwi was the best starter she had ever eaten. Once again we would highly recommend... More

In a Christmas party of 8 from start to finish all was excellent. The duck I had was tasty, well cooked and different from what I've had in other restaurants. The cheese board was totally different from past places with not a cream cracker or digestive in sight and all different 6 chesses to sample. The owners should be applauded... More
