What can I say - absolutely fantastic. The number of guest ales is almost too many. I settled for Bass straight from the barrel - brilliant. If you like "proper" beer this is the place to go.

Can't tell you about the food, but can tell you the beer was stunning. Classic pint Bass tapped straight from the barrel. Then a pint of even more local Joules. Beer heaven in this special beer town.

I live in Crete and my special treat is to visit the Coopers when I am in Burton. The landlords are really special friendly people and the atmosphere is unque. Can't recommend it highly enough.

What a great pub! Large range of real ales, some straight from barrel. Traditional pub with some small rooms. One not to miss. Very pleasant staff.

Stayed in Travelodge and got a v cheap taxi into town. The pub is very quirky and so old! Beer barrels racked up at back selling lots of different real ales. My husband loved it. The pork pies looked amazing but we went to the...More

The Coopers Tavern is like a snapshot of Burton brewing history. Lots of choice of Beer, the Bass in my opinion is particularly good and served straight from the barrel which is interesting (well I think so). Also, cheap cobs and pork pies etc which...More

Historic cosy pub. Good friendly service. Very well kept ales, Joules brewery mainly. Unpretentious. Don't know if food offered but definitely enjoyed the Joules Blonde beer.

I would doubt it very much ! It was a great place - and I am sure your singing would add to the atmosphere. Go for it .
