Having been stuck indoors for over a week without seeing a soul except my husband I had "Cabin Fever" so talked him into going out for a Saturday Drive. Going through Somerton we saw the tables and chairs outside a Tea Rooms in the Square, so we decided to stop and have a tea/coffee. There was a very chilly breeze... More

Somerton is one of the prettiest villages. Having gone for a walk around Somerton we wanted to get a cup of tea and decided to have a cream tea. The staff were very nice and we sat outside. We had the Most delicious scones with equally delicious strawberry jam and the best clotted cream. The tea was Taylor's Yorkshire tea... More

We had afternoon tea here a little while back. The staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble. As the weather was lovely we had our tea outside. I went in to place my order and was overcome with the wonderful smell of fresh baked scones. I couldn't resist buying some. A very busy little cafe and I am not surprised.... More

Stopped off on a long distance cycle ride from Milton Keynes to Torquay. They were just opening up as I arrived but were friendly and chatty. Sat outside in the sunshine with a full English breakfast and mug of coffee. Food was excellent, with a special mention for the local sausage!. Price was very reasonable. Excellent little cafe in a... More

The caramel milkshake with a shot of coffee is to die for, and staff so accommodating and friendly. Situated in the village square you can sit in the sunshine and people watch for hours. Highly recommended

We stopped on a rainy day when the town and this café were very quiet. The staff we met were very friendly and the food including homemade quiche was freshly prepared and excellent. We also tried cakes which were very good. Overall a very pleasant experience and good value for money.

Being in the main town square it is a great place to sit, sip tea, coffee or cold drinks and nibble on their fabulous scones. Cream tea or savoury both were very good. the fact you can also have a bottle of beer or cider is welcoming or maybe one of their homemade cordials. Friendly people and friendly prices. If... More

We decided to pop in for a quick lunch whilst visiting Somerton visually this looked a quaint little tea shop so had great expectation - however was very dissapointed when ordering it looked as though it was going to be a bit of a wait as looked quite busy being a Bank holiday. We waited 40 minutes for one cream... More
