I was walking 10 miles from Minehead to Porlock Weir in 27 degree heat today and unfortunately completely underestimated how much water I would need. I was quite dehydrated and wandered into this tea room without realising that they were closed. The gentleman inside was happy...to sell me some water despite the fact that they were closed. If it wasn't for that I would have ended up hiking another 3 or 4 miles on hardly any water, so thank you for going out of your way to sort me out, I really appreciate it.More

Finding this was a very pleasant surprise. Family-run cafe/tea room with home-made cakes and scones and a very pleasant garden to enjoy it on a sunny summer's day. The ginger cake was quite exceptional and the service relaxed and friendly. Would visit here again!

Recommended by someone on the SWCP, this is a jewel. Top rate coffee, super scones (including GF, homemade), very tasty jam. And a lovely garden to sit in.

We sat in the garden on a lovely sunny September morning and enjoyed good service and a cream tea. The menu is quite varied and a reasonable price, although I think £4.50 is a bit much for 1 scone - delicious though it was.More

Hi, many thanks for your comments and great to hear you enjoyed your visit to Kitnors. £4.50 for a one scone cream tea is pretty standard, we make our scones fresh every day, the jam is locally made by a small family run business (so...More
