The food was excellent, service could have been a little better, we had to try to get waitresses attention as they passed; it was a little busy to be fair. Would go there again.

Frequent visits to the Queens Head are reliable. Broad range menu and specials board. Mussels and Paella are standard fare and always reliable if you love seafood.

The interior was lovely and warm the main heat was from a central open fire on one of the coldest nights so far this year! The interior had a nice warm feeling and was quite busy, mainly people waiting/having meals, there are various dining areas, including a large conservatory. We had drinks in the bar area and dined in the... More

Called in for a family lunch during a day out. Pleasant atmosphere and nice views overlooking the canal. Good choice of menu and an extensive specials board, we struggled to decide. When the food arrived it was well presented. We all chose something diferent, so sampled each others dishes which were excellent. Friendly efficient service too, will be back for... More

We went for a last minute New Year's Eve meal. The menu was nice and not cheap, why do restauranteurs feel the need to serve frozen chips. It really spoilt our meal. It really is so shoddy and spoilt what was quite a nice meal

Looked like it might be a nice place, but doesn't allow dogs... very clever idea for a country pub! So we got back on the road.

Went for a family meal here and I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered from the Christmas menu which was great value for money! It was plentiful and delicious! We can't wait to go back to try something different!

Came a few weeks back for lunch. So much choice! Massive portions, certainly left full! Had garlic mushroom ciabatta starter, bread was absolutely dripping with garlic butter which was quite over-powering so only ate half of it. Apart from that couldn't fault the meals! Would recommend and visit again.
