I occasionally visit Thame from High Wycombe as I love this little town and I had been doing a charity flag day earlier. I have made several visits to this coffee shop over the years and three times since new owners took over. I particularly liked the "olde worlde cottagy" atmosphere. When they first opened, I thought this was just... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant, the food was really enjoyable, not a complaint, but the plate was overflowing with food, just too much (lol) The manager, Patrick made sure we were well looked after, the staff were excellent, very efficient and pleasant. the restaurants decor had a theme of a French bistro... We visit Thame every so often and usually stop for lunch. We had been here before and food wasn't that good. So gave it another try. Served by a nice young lady although we were only acknowledged by one other member of staff. We had baguette's. Not good! Stale bread and my prawns were tasteless. My partner had a chicken... More

Getting grubbier. Cakes now very factory made. What a sad demise. People on the next table were eating scampi and chips and the portions were tiny. Staff were lovely but all very young and lacking in guidance/experience. Management need to take a firm hold on standards.

Refreshments arrived cakes were very pleasant not too rich, beverages were hot. All reasonably priced and represented good value for money. Food being served to other customers looked pretty... I accidentally found myself back here for lunch with the children. (I'd vowed never to return after poor service and disappointing food the first time, but didn't realise it was the same place until I sat down and started the interminable wait to be served. Again.) There are a selection of sandwiches - none very inspiring. Coffee was nice. The... More

We used to visit regularly and was so disappointed to find it in such a state. Went for sandwiches, received a stale baguette, very wet prawns (the kind that drip a milky discharge all over your plate when you take a bite) cheep old sliced bread on the club sandwich and served with tragic looking side salads. The staff have... More

We popped in for a light lunch and from the time we got through the door, it was chaos. If he'd been on his own, my husband would have walked out, but I thought we ought to see how things progressed. Firstly, we sat down, only to be told the table was reserved, only there was no notice was on... More

I meet friends during the day for a snack or lunch. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food well prepared. The is a good variety on the menu.
