Staying locally in the area and decided to call in at the fox and hounds for something to eat. It is a small pub but with great food and a hospitable welcome from the hosts. Would recommend

Visited the Fox and Hounds for Sunday Lunch. This was our first visit and we will return. A really friendly family run pub, offering excellent hospitality and food. Home cooked food and the bakewell tart was fantastic.

The Fox & Hounds is trying to position itself as a Gastro Pub and is not quite there. Service was patchy and the food offering whilst attractive loses out because two of the items I was interested in were not available. My third choice was...More

The Fox and Hounds is under new management; welcome to YOUR community pub. Kelly, Steve and family would like to welcome you to the new Fox & Hounds. Having lived in Ardley for nearly 4 years, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to take over the Fox and Hounds when the opportunity arose and turn our dream of a “village pub for the community” into a reality. After 2 weeks of extensive refurbishment, including 2 new kitchens, a fantastic new menu, real ales including Hook Norton “Hooky” and Timothy Taylors Landlord, we are now open. For those passing through, you can find us rather conveniently located at Junction 10 on the M40 and a alternative stop to the services. We offer free wifi and a cosy environment for a business meeting. We are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week and look forward to welcoming you to your new Fox and Hounds at Ardley. Kelly and Steve x
