Since moving up to Northumberland Pinnacles has become a tea time treat once a month. Food is always beautifully cooked...service excellent with friendly staff. If we have visitors friends or family its a firm favourite.

If you want traditional fish and chips in a no frills setting with great quality food then Pinnacles hits the spot. The staff are helpful and will cook to your requests, we like lightly battered. Good stop off and filling

In the space of a week I think I had chips and curry about 4 times here. Each time it was awesome. Chips were perfect, no scraps to be seen at the end and with the curry sauce being almost pulp free, and not overly spicy, it made for 4 brilliant lunches. Well worth the price each time. My only... Many thanks for another great Five Star review Chris. We are pleased you enjoyed your chips with curry sauce at Pinnacles on multiple occasions this week and it’s always a test of good food if the customer keeps coming back for more. We look forward to your next visit and remember - XXL is no problem. More

We are here visiting as a family from Scotland. We love this part of the world! A part of our regular trips here, is a visit to pinnacles to get our fish and chips. We either take it to harbour and watch the boats or back to our lodge on the cold winter nights. The fish is of outstanding quality... More

There are a few fish and chip restaurants in Seahouses so it's tricky to make a choice. We've been coming here for years when we come up on holiday and always choose Pinnacles. Sentimental reasons I suppose but luckily they don't disappoint. This time as ever the fish was fresh and the better light and crispy. Great chips, proper mushy... More

My wife and I dropped in for some fish an chips at lunchtime. Lovely food, good seri=vice and pleasant surroundings. The extra charge for a slice of basic white bread with butter were a bit high but, overall, good value.

Thanks for the nice review and we are very pleased you enjoyed your lunchtime fish and chips at Pinnacles. If you order fish and chips with mushy peas and a cup of tea, then bread is included free as part of the deal. Some customers prefer to choose their own items from the menu and in that case we have... More

Stopped for haddock and chips x 5 after a family beach walk the other day. We all felt that the fish and chips were undercooked as they were too pale and just turned into a mushy mess. The fish was nice, but I ended up throwing most of my meal away. I wish the cook had taken a little more... More

This contributor wrote a negative ‘review’ about Pinnacles several days ago in which they complained about a whole set of dubious circumstances. After our reply, the review mysteriously disappeared from the site, only to reappear now, with a completely new set of issues and a totally different scenario. This is extremely suspicious and calls into question everything that they claim,... More

Meh! Fish and chips mediocre. Fish was okay but batter was soggy. Chips were undercooked, anemic and pale. (By the way, I’m visiting from USA and my spelling and grammar are American so I don’t need your belligerent corrections!) Chips all meld together as a big soggy lump, rather than being crisp and separate. What’s almost worse is their use... More

Just what we don’t need - an arrogant, belligerent, loudmouth with undercooked, soggy opinions on just about every topic they know absolutely nothing about. The only thing that has melded together in one great soggy lump is your brain, but after a quick lobotomy with a plastic fork, you should be alright once we have stored your frontal lobes in...
