We visited, with our family, for Sunday lunch. We sat in the conservatory, which was very comfortable, and the food was delicious and plentyful. The staff were very obliging and the service was excellent. We'll certainly visit again when we're in the area.

We are holidaying in Northumbria and are glad we decided to eat here tonight. Great starter of kipper pate followed by beautiful fish and chips (me) and excellent seafood mornay (Sue). Happy to recommend.

The food was both very good and very reasonably priced. Also the service received was very good. I would recommend it to anyone

We went to the cottage for a few drinks, and possibly for a bar meal(we have eaten there many times).unfortunately the visit was spoiled by selfish dog owners not controlling their pooches properly .it got so bad we upped and left ! Bloody annoying!!

We ate at the Cottage twice and each time found it very nice. This is a pub with excellent pub type meals and it has to be reviewed as that. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended for a nice Gammon and chips...More
