Stayed here for three nights over new year with a package. It included room, breakfast, 3 course evening meal. The room and bathroom were a little small and a tad tired looking and the room could have done with bottled water it had everything else, however this was the only downside. The breakfasts were really good and the evening meals... More

Rude staff, terrible service, cold food. Oh and over priced, with APPALLING toilets (dirty, no hand towels).

Double birthday celebration meal for five, lovely atmosphere, genuinely friendly staff who rectified a small problem with speed and efficiency. The food was delicious every plateful, fish pie highly recommended, packed full of quality ingredients, the cod fillet cooked to perfection, and as for the sticky toffee pudding, sheer heaven. l'm a fussy eater and l wouldn't hesitate to go... We were in Bamburgh for a long weekend, on a cold wet and stormy Tuesday, we visited this hotel and restaurant after my partner took our dog on a walk and I surfed. The weather was horrific, in the middle of Storm Angus, I was in a wetsuit and cold wet and tired. My partner and our dog Maggie's were... More

Plain home cooking served well, our only complaint was they allow dogs in the brasserie, which, when the weather is wet the wet dog smell is a bit overpowering. But saying that overall I would recommend the resturant.

Buzzing atmosphere as it has been on previous visits with attentive staff. The decor is modern and tasteful. The menu is not to extensive but what is on it is very good and has enough of a selection to suit most people. Great place to make a night of it if your are staying local, the bar serves most of... After a walk on the wonderful beach at Banburgh I had booked 4 of us in for lunch . We thought it might be only acceptable but in actual fact it was a very nice meal, really friendly and helpful staff and probably a nice hotel too but we were not staying there.

Thank Arthur B
