The Treehouse is certainly an eye catching place as there is nothing much like it anywhere else. It’s uniqueness itself sets a benchmark that I’m afraid to say, it fails to achieve. We visited on a cold afternoon when it was snowing. Although the fire...More

The treehouse restaurant is full of atmosphere and is a lovely setting. Unfortunately for us the food didn't mirror the setting. We arrived about 20 minutes early for our table (it was cold in the gardens!), which meant that we had to wait for our...More

The novelty of this place sells itself. However go for food and cocktails and you wont be dissapointed. Lots of local and seasonal dishes that blew me away. A must if you’re visiting Alnwick

I love this place! Where else can you get spectacular food in a treehouse high in the treetops with a massive roaring fire?! The cocktails are lovely too!!

Visited with a group of friends for drinks and a meal. Potting shed was not open. Chairs uncomfortable but the food and service were good.

We visited on a chilly day on our way to Scotland from the South. Popped into Alnwick Castle for a detour as saw it was local but realised it was closed on arrival. Wandered the grounds and thought we’d see if the tree house area...More

There is a bar section in a small tree house opposite the restaurant. There is also an outdoor seating area near the entrance to the the restaurant where you can sit and have drinks when it's sunny.

Description
The Treehouse is one of the most magical and unique restaurants to be found anywhere in the world. It’s high up in the treetops, with a roaring log fire in the centre of the room and trees growing through the floor. Most importantly, the locally-inspired food is delicious. Always featuring local fish and seafood, meats from Northumberland’s farmlands and other regional specialities, the Treehouse Restaurant menus highlight local quality, taste and change throughout the seasons. There’s a great wine list, a good range of beers and regular live music. For a family dining experience that you’ll all enjoy, a great night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two, there’s nowhere quite like it. We always recommend booking ahead for lunch or dinner.
