The north of England is sorely lacking in family bakeries, so I always jump at the chance whenever I see one. Was not disappointed, I got a chocolate cupcake, a French fancy and a Viennese whirl, all were devoured. Yum.

A nice independent bakery right opposite Greggs! Choose this bakery for taste and presentation. Nice staff who were really helpful to the couple in front of us in the queue. Cakes were tasty and went down well.

popped in for lunch had sausage rolls and rum truffles for after. was very disappointed, sausage rolls was big and very heavy, no taste at all, terrible, also the rum truffle was stodgy and flavourless, x
We didn't hold much hope of the portion size of the jacket potatoes as it was advertised as a special offer of £2.50. How wrong can you be! The potato was enormous, choice of about 7 or 8 toppings and side salad with coleslaw all...More
