We went there week after walking over from a village nearby. It wasn’t busy so found a good spot in the garden and noticed blackboards with snacks or ‘beer bites’ as they are more commonly known. I had 3 different ones out off the list...and have to say they were fantastic. Sweet potato curry bites, pancetta and cod bites plus Spanish meatballs were very tasty. My husband always goes for the burger as says one of the best locally. All in all couldn’t fault this-worth nipping along to try this tasty snack menu they have!More

We had our wedding lunch at the Overstone Arms restaurant in September 2020, the event was simply perfect, we had the restaurant to ourselves and Chris was the perfect host. We have always loved the Sunday roast there and consider it the best we have...found since moving to the area. So we decided to have the Carvery option, all our guest raved about the three courses of traditional English food and the setting. The staff were extremely attentive and very professional. Thank you Chris and the girls for helping to make our wedding day so special.More

Went for a lovely meal here tonight. I had the Cumberland sausage and mash - 4 sausages, and caramel churros for pudding. It was all freshly cooked and really nice. Would highly recommend. Covid rules in place and felt very safe.

Visited on Tuesday, sat in the lovely beer garden and the kind man at the bar even let us order food despite it being a few minutes past their closing time. Food was delicious and staff friendly, thank you

Visited in August to make the most of the Eat Out to Help out. Good to see all Covid measures in place. We had a warm welcome in the bar and were shown to our table. Beautiful interior to the pub and I know from...previous visits that it has a lovely garden too. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was exceptional and all done with a smile and very good humour. We will return :)More

A massive thank you to the guys at Overstone Arms for making our first trip to a pub after lockdown a wonderful normal pub experience. All social distance measures in place, felt safe, sanitiser stations in place, took our info for track and trace in...a nice informal pleasant manner. Was great to see people smiling and enjoying them self and we all felt at home. There is a one way system in place which works well and the friendly staff in the garden taking orders for drinks. If you wants decent pint and a bite to eat get yourself down to the Overstone Arms. Darren and Family.More

We went with a large party of friends who all sing together for a post Christmas dinner. The meals were all preordered as we were a big party but even so they brought out all the same dished together so some tables had people waiting...quite a long time between the first and last being served. The food was variable, my beef bourguignon was quite good but those who had a chicken dish were not impressed. Sweets were OK but nothing special (supermarket cheescake?). In all we would say it was OK but nothing to write home about - it could have been the large party but they did say they could cope with us. We probably will not bother to come againMore

The Overstone Arms is situated a short distance from the A14 in the village of Pytchley near Kettering. We visited earlier in the week and decided to have some food. Service was very good, better than our last visit when we waited an eternity for our...food however this time it was prompt as well as friendly too. Very homely feel about the place too! Good value, our 2 meals came to less than £25 with a drink each. Visited February 2020More
