A little while since we have eaten here, but it's still consistently good for food. The word has obviously got around as all tables were full. So book to avoid disappointment as they say. The bar area was fairly busy so a reasonable atmosphere. Hannah was on by herself which wasn't idea, but as she moves like a whippet there... More
We had a delious 3 course lunch. The service was excellent and the food was served hot and delicious. The wines were the right temperature and we ended the meal with great coffees. We will certainly be visiting The Crown many times in the future. Our Thanks to the Manager, Chef and Staff. See you soon
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here on Saturday night. We have been before, and although good in the past it was really outstanding on Saturday. There is a newly refurbished dining area, and a slightly separated bar area, all creating a lovely atmosphere, with also plenty of outdoor space for drinking, dining and the kids to play. Will certainly be going... More
I use The Crown regularly as a training venue. The pub has a function room that can be hired. The entire team always go out of their way to make my day successful. There is always hot drinks and luxury biscuits on arrival and their buffet lunch is as good as any I come across (including those at a much... More
A cosy pub with a warm, friendly atmosphere and something to suit everyone. My family come to dine here at least once a month and we often bring family and friends when they visit from out of Leeds. The Sunday dinners are beautiful, everything is cooked well with huge Yorkshire puddings included. If you get them as a starter, 3... More
This was a return visit in quite a while, as our previous visit had not been very good on a number of fronts. We were pleasantly surprised, the place was really busy with quite a buzz about it. The staff were helpful, obliging, & professional in equal measure, they gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble & they... More
We have just had a 21st birthday party at The Crown Monk Fryston. The the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good buffet with plenty for everyone. We were able to decorate the room in the morning. Everyone enjoyed themselves and were dancing till midnight.
Very clean and well presented pub, furnishings of a good standard and very friendly, hard working staff. All very keen to ensure your visit is an enjoyable one. I had one of the best Fishermen's Pie that I've ever had and Janette's fish and chips was very tasty. Will definitely visit again when we come back.
