This place is a gem! The foods very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't be more helpful and they are great with kids. Although the savoury food is great... make sure you save a space for their incredible cakes!!!!

Interior still seems to portray a student cafe rather than the excellent cafe it actually is (it's hard to pinpoint exactly why) but once the coffee and food arrives it deserves 5 ***** . Waitress very cheerful and helpful. Sat outside in March sunshine and it couldn't have been more perfect. Tried their real chocolate, hot chocolate and it fulfilled... More

I love coming here to have lunch, I'm coeliacs and its still hard to find a great lunch, but HunnyBeez never fails to deliver. A great menu full of choices, good, homecooked, locally sourced delicious ingredients, what more can a girl want?

I love this little cafe. I can always eat a substantial breakfast and then have a choice of different cakes and this is down to the fantastic amount of gluten free options available. I visit regularly with family and friends.

We had an average bacon sandwich here (bread was a bit dry and I was rather astonished to be asked how many rashers of bacon I wanted, but maybe that's a good thing...!) and a decent enough pot of tea. The only thing I didn't much care for was witnessing a member of staff clearing/cleaning tables etc., and then using... More

We kept on meaning to pop in here after seeing all of the good reviews and finally did when in town one day. I had a dark hot chocolate which was delicious and very rich (just to my liking). We had bacon sandwiches, which were doorstop sandwiches. The bread was thick and very good quality. The bacon was cooked perfectly... More

We only popped in here for a quick drink trying to get rid of some hours. We'd already eaten breakfast, but if I'd had any room left I seriously would have forced one of their cakes in. As it was I chose their hot chocolate. This is an extremely civilised affair as they have large chocolate 'buttons' (for want of... More

Well we didn't even get to try the food , not only was I astonished that I had to pay 50p for the privilege of using a credit card (hello it's not 1970!), no contactless, there just seemed to be no customer concern, no help was offered to sort seating out just a " tables reserved" and a helpless look, even... I'm really sorry that you found your trip to Hunnybeez to be unsatisfactory. Firstly, we do have a 50p charge on cards, but it is only on orders that are under £10, if your order was above this then we would not have applied this charge. It is only due to being charged by our service provider for all transactions,... More

Had lunch here on a very cold day - the warmth of the business matched the restaurant room. Premises spotlessly clean and staff very welcoming. Lunch was rapidly prepared and wonderfully hot too. Whilst waiting (maximum 10 mins!) we observed another customer buying cakes for a birthday party; nothing was too much trouble, writing down names of cakes purchased and... More

We stopped here on a Sunday, it's quite popular with cyclists and dog owners, plus nice selection of cakes. Coffee was delicious and you can have skimmed milk or soya if you would rather. It was very slow though, it seemed to take forever to get the coffee and they weren't that busy. Thankfully we weren't in a major rush.
