Stunning setting overlooking the fisheries / river- visited here on Tuesday evening this week and had a drink outside. The young chap behind the bar was most pleasant and helpful. Lovely setting and a true local pub!

We had goat curry and jerk chicken. Well presented and beautifully cooked. Lovely rice, salad and coleslaw. Good price too. Nice weather so we sat outside. Friendly and efficient staff. Ploughman's looked good too.

Had a meal here the night before last. I had a homemade steak & stilton pie, mash and veg. It was quite simply one of the best meals ive ever had. Absolutely gorgeous.
