We went for dinner here last night for my birthday we loved the look of this place from the outside and the inside was very Cosy, reasonably priced and lovely food. We both had the lamb shank which fell off the bone and it was amazing!! Staff were really friendly and the owners were very lovely to chat to.

Dear Zoe We would like to thank you and your staff for a wonderful Valentines evening last night. As usual, the surroundings, the food together with entertainment provided by the pianist Stephen Priestly were excellent. You and your staff did extremely well to make everyone so welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had lovely conversations with various other couples... More

Where to go on a wintry January day for a birthday celebration, with the dog. We chose Wells and we're not disappointed. We booked earlier in the day, checked the dog was accepted and turned up on time. Lovely warm atmosphere, not busy and a comfortable table. Attentive service throughout but not intrusive. My wife enjoyed her lamb shank, my... More

What we had to eat and what we thought: Starters - Pear and roquefort: I think we got two very small shavings of roquefort and just ripe pear (£7.50) - Stilton and mushroom on toast: this was probably the best out of a bad bunch (£6.26) Mains: - Sticky BBQ Ribs: menu certainly dressed them up (Iceland me thinks for... Nice wine menu. Not extraordinary but fine. Baked camembert was initially under-done (cold and not melted in the middle) so politely sent it back to get it microwave-nuked. And the portion was disappointingly small for what is on as a sharing baked (microwaved) camembert. It was approx 3-4 inches in diameter. The burger was good, cooked well and substantial. Chips... We went out last night to a Hospice Black Tie four course dinner. Full house attendance. Music was provided by pianist Stephen Priestly and violinist Flo which were outstanding. The food, service and ambience were fantastic. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and stylish. You could not find any fault and full marks to Zoe and her team. Another great night... More

Restaurant was empty, therefore no atmosphere. We were expecting so much more as the menu looked really inviting. Unfortunately, Food was microwaved and very bland
