Lovely pubs with a fab menu, lovely food & great service. We will go back again for sure. Jas was brilliant & really helpful about the local area. Wish it was our local! They do lots of events there for all tastes too.

A beautiful old pub with lots of character & charm. A varied, reasonable menu ranging from snacks to larger plates. Delicious desserts too. The local cider was recommended by two friends.

Just moved to village and thought we would try the pub for dinner, didn't realise Thursday night is Carvey night so was really busy, managed to fit us in though. We didn't opt for the Carvey but from the menu instead, our party had steak, steak pudding, lasagne and a soup. Everyone said their meals were very nice and plentiful,... More

Stopped here for lunch on our way back from Benenden, looks an interesting old pub/restaurant in a fairly busy little village, lots of through traffic. The prices are really reasonable which probably explains the menu choices. Mum opted for plaice at an extremely reasonable £8.95, small but enough for her, she asked for no peas, but hey ho as usual... More

I have recently visited this pub with my family and can say that I am disappointed. Although the service was good, it was clear the staff weren't treated well by those in charge, and the food was obviously microwaved and nothing to boast of. I found there to be too many menus on the tables some different to the boards... More

Very enjoyable, good food and being quite excellent service! There was 4 of us and the food was very good and up to the good standard. It was quite being Monday but there was still a good atmosphere as there were several at the bar. Good portions of food.

It has been a little while since eating at the George and Dragon, but we were pleased the carvery is good as ever. The down side is you may have to wait 20 minutes past the table booking time, but since it is a pub it was not a problem.

We happened on the George and Dragon when looking for somewhere to eat in the early evening on a Sunday. We were greeted by young friendly staff and efficiently served by knowledgeable staff. The food was very good and tasty and delivered very quickly. The ambience was olde worlde, just the way I like it.
