Allowing for the food being cooked to order - very good friendly service. Food was excellent and well cooked.

Popped here for a 3 course meal and couldn't fault it. Quickly shown to table and served. Food well presented and tasted lovely. All good on menu very reasonably priced. Good selection of wines - next time I'll be sure to try the ales though. Will certainly be going back very soon. Thank you.

My husband and I were treated to a three course meal at this pub so we booked and headed off to find it. It's in the Kent countryside not far from Hever Castle (Anne Boelyn's home). The village is really pretty and old apart from a 1960's monstrosity across from the pub. It's directly on the tiny high street and... More

As above. I don't expect the ritz treatment in a country pub but acknowledgment from staff when you've waited over an hour for a burger would be bare minimum. I also have no idea why that bar lady needed so many knives and forks.. Was a B/H Monday so I hope its just an off day but perhaps sunday service... More

I went in with my 73 year old mother and youngest son today. It was my mums idea and I approached the meal with a certain amount of trepidation as her track record on suggesting places to eat normally involves the menu being bland. I couldn't have been more wrong - service was good, portion size was very generous -... More

Best food we have sampled in Edenbridge. The drinks where expensive at £4.85 a pint but they where really nice drinks and the food was well priced and very very good. We had to wait for a meal to come out while the others where served to the table and they forgot to bring out a side dish which we... More

Located in the middle of Edenbridge center, very close to all the shops, and other restaurants. The inside deco is a bit unusual, but it has a relaxing atmosphere. I went there for few drinks, but I understand they serve food as they have an extensive menue. The staff were efficient, and very friendly.

Four cousins and their spouses met here for Sunday Lunch. A very special occasion because one couple came from Australia and until recently the rest of us did not know anything about her or her part of the family. We were made so welcome by all the staff and enjoyed our different choices for lunch. There were odd bits missing... More

Lacked warmth. So look, the food was OK, nothing to write home about but apart from being a tad expensive and the veg being a bit underdone it was alright. But what was missing was any warmth. And I don't just mean the radiators being off (unfortunate but bearable!) but I mean any engagement or pleasant conversation. It was all... More

A meal out with friends, where only one other table was occupied. It was cold as heating was only working in one spot. Considering only 2 tables eating service was poor having to ask for cutlery and sauces. Dinner was ok, steak and ale pie, but new potatoes weren't cooked. No coffee other than filter. Overall disappointing
