This cafe on Deal High Street put us in mind of a cafe in the 50/60's. It wasn't at all pretentious and sold honest to goodness meals at reasonable prices. The menus are up on the wall behind the long counter. The staff are really friendly, chatty and interested. We had a full English breakfast with a large pot of... More

Kings is a great location and is always busy, with young and old clients. They do a fantastic range of foods, hot or cold and great cakes and teas & coffees. I regularily get take out coffee and they are I'm sure the cheapest coffee in town. Not over priced like the big chains.

Larry and Donna are a delightful touch of Italian sun. The staff are locol and a delight. Great pasta with motsorella and parmesan. Paninnis fresh and toasty. Good selection of pastrys. Also my husbands favourite, home made bread pudding with custard.

Excellent old fashioned Italian cafe with a friendly vibe. Food is plentiful, tasty and good value. I had a nicely presented Antipasto salad which was brilliant value for money at £4.95 it included 3 different cold meats, olives, rocket, sun blushed tomato, Artichoke and a warm roll. My husband had a jacket potato (cooked correctly in the oven not microwaved)... More

I have been coming to Kings for nearly 20 years and it never fails to impress. The owners have got customer service perfected and the food is well prepared and very enjoyable. My children love going there for ice cream and cakes and I enjoy a simple coffee or the odd all day breakfast. The daily newspapers are available by... More

Great coffee, good people running it, nice atmosphere and really decent food (all day breakfast, mouth-watering panini etc..). Table and place was clean, toilets were spotless. The only downside was the place being so crowded it was difficult to find a table, and we had to wait almost 10 minutes for a place (despite there being 53 seats in the... More

This is a pure gem, not only is the food gorgeous, coupled with the wonderful ambience in the place, the staff are just so friendly and wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. There is an obvious community spirit about this place, and rather than popping into a high street coffee shop, it rather seems you are popping into a friends... More

This place is simple, friendly and popular. The people who run it are hugely welcoming. Nice straightforward menu, with freshly prepared sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, etc. A good range of cakes too. All pretty cheap. Oh, and don't miss the Christmas decorations each year. Cable cars wind their way just over head height. Santas abseil from the ceiling. Toy trains... More
