Have just returned from a truly delicious birthday lunch with my husband. This was some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. It’s a small menu with 4 choices and we shared all 4 as small plates. Everything was beautifully cooked and...More

Though this restaurant is very small, the food is excellent and completely mouth-watering! Cranbrook is also a delight..a quaint... ever so Kentish village. Our waitress was just amazing and full of the joys of life. Gorgeous meticulously made food. A real treat for us all!!...More

Very enjoyable dinner, excellent food and wine. We were lucky to get in at fairly short notice. We will be back and sooner than last time!

We regularly eat in Kent’s best known restaurants – The Sportsman, The West House, etc. – but the cooking at Apicius beats them all hands down. This shouldn’t be surprising given it held a Michelin star until temporarily closing in 2015. From conception to execution...More

Absolutely fantastic food, lovely atmosphere great front of house staff. Highly recommended cannot wait to return. Great idea to be able to choose smaller portions of dishes on the menu (which are a very good portion size) so you can try more courses.

Don’t be fooled by external facade - inside warm welcome, wonderful faultless food with opportunity to choose small or large portions. Cheese selection was wide. Service helpful and discreet. Will be back. Thank you
