We have been dining here for just over 25 years and at an average frequency of around every 6 to 8 weeks. The Chefs and Staff have consistently provided Excellent Food and Service to a level not found in many Indian Restaurants. Very pleasant surroundings, hygienic facilities and comfortable seating with plenty of space for all your dishes. No request... More

Living locally, I use this restaurant on a regular basis. It never fails to deliver really nice authentic Indian (Bangladesh) food. It has a great menu - lots of choices - always tasty and full of spice. The staff are great too - it's a nice family business - friendly and chatty and they really make you feel welcome. If... More

Popped in here tonight as our local Indian is currently closed. Service was friendly and efficient. Our son had chicken tikka which he said was fantastic. We ordered 2 curries - the Dhansak was good BUT it just wasn't hot enough in temperature i.e. it came out luke warm. Our other curry was even colder. Wasn't over keen on it... More

This is the first time I've written a review but I just can't let this pass. I visited recently and can honestly say this is the worst meal I've ever eaten, Indian or otherwise. My chicken rogan was simply a piece of chicken cut up and put in tinned tomatoes, no flavour, no spices. The rice was cold and the... More

We are unsure why there have been such bad reviews. What is there not to like about the food and ambience. Excellent and varied menu, good service. Go elsewhere in the village at your peril.

This review is overdue. I have eaten here three of four times - largely as it is the only game in town and after a few beers in a local pub one doesn't usually consider driving somewhere else for an indian meal. Anyway . . . I visited this place for the very last time about two weeks ago. We... More

We very much enjoyed the take-away curries we ordered from here. An additional surprise was the free bottle of Cobra beer which was discovered when opening the bag at home!

Last Saturday we decided to try a new restaurant for a take-away and I must say the telephone manner and service were excellent, the lady taking the order was kind enough to mention that we would need to pay cash as the card terminal was not working properly. We ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala and a Chicken Dopiaza as usually... More
