Had a family roast here for mothers day. Top notch! The size of the Yorkshire pudding was epic ;). Good wholesome food, no frozen rubbish. Excellent service. Our server was none other than "Mr Mouse". We were well looked after by him. All the staff have smiles in their faces despite being rushed off their feet keeping everybody happy. We... More

Dog friendly pub, with helpful happy staff. Order a ploughman's lunch, big portion, which tasted lovely and was well presented. Would also recommend the Wight Mouse Pale Ale. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Stayed at the Wight Mouse for several weeks while working on the island. It really is difficult to fault. Well Stocked bar, excellent kitchen, really nice ambience and a varied menu. My only advice is don't stay here if your on a diet, the food is excellent and the portions-are definitely 'man size' ! The fish and chips could be... More

Hadn't been here for about 10 years, so stopped by on our visit to the island. Great quality food and service was friendly and quick. Shame that the pub now seems to be on the 'generic' side of things and has lost it's individual charm it once had. Reasonable prices, good sized portions. Bar area a bit scruffy and bar... More

I've recently been diagnosed with coeliacs disease and, thanks to The Wight Mouse Inn, I am now able to enjoy a wide range of food from their separate gluten free menu, plus they often have gluten free options on the Specials Board. The staff are amazing and very friendly and I always feel so relaxed when I visit, which is... More

This pub has lots of character and generally a good atmosphere, and it's always been a favourite of mine. On this occasion our party had to hunt around a bit before finding a suitable table, that was not underneath a speaker playing music. My step father has dementia and he would not have been able to follow the conversation if... More

We are a friendly, family owned freehouse and restaurant with 10 letting rooms on the south of the Isle of Wight. We are popular with locals, families, walkers and cyclists and anyone that enjoys fantastic views. We are near Blackgang Chine (Britains oldest theme park) and are a convenient mid-way stop for those traversing the Island either clockwise or anticlockwise. We have a large south facing garden with outdoor play equipment for the children and plenty of seating for lazy sunny days looking out across the water. If it rains we have lots of tables inside too with log fires in winter.
