This is a lovely restaurant with really great curry. Tasty, flavoursome and the right amount of heat. Top notch and would recommend. The service was quick, polite and efficient. The cost is about right. Next time I'm back in Tring I will be back!

I imagine, had I drained my food prior to eating it, I would have had enough oil to fuel an alternate fuel vehicle for a good few miles. I am aware that northern Indian cuisine calls for oil or butter to make the food taste good but there is a difference between scratching your ear and ripping it right off.... More

The wife and myself just had an amazing meal again at the jubraj. Very friendly they don't rush you and most importantly they ask if everything is ok when you have your meal. Excellent beer and wine very nice warm popadoms and the meat in the curry itself was top grade. Always always plenty of everything.

The food and service was awesome, highly recommend the onion rice (providing you're not sensitive to onions!) Garlic Chicken has quite a kick and the Bangladeshi Chicken Tikka Masala was tasty. Very pleased with this restaurant.

We've eaten here on and off over several years if not longer. The food is typical Bangladeshi style with choices which will be familiar to anyone who has ever eaten at an Indian restaurant. It's not exceptional (you'd need to pay a lot more for that) but it is consistently good and excellent value. The decor has a old style... More

Really like going to the Jubraj in Tring. Always friendly staff and the food is always pretty good. Other Indian restaurants are available in Tring but I always go here. Yes, it is getting a bit tired and the plates could almost be on the antiques roadshow, but there is something about the place, it's a Tring institution. Good selection... More

Went with a large group of 15 - were served quickly with excellent food. Normal Indian dishes of high quality without any frills. Very friendly and helpful service

Spontaneous visit on a weekday evening last week. Although the restaurant was empty (we were eating quite early) we received attentive service from the lonely waiter and the food was good and competitively priced. As we are new to the area, it was our 1st trip out in Tring and although we will try other local restaurants, we would definitely... More

I have ate at a lot of Indian restaurants. this restaurant looks outdated. a relic from the past with food that taste like you would get from a standard curry house. overall experience nothing special. there is better food money can buy. shame it's not this place.

Went (again) with some work colleagues and food was good as ever. Everything we ordered was well presented, hot and came out at a decent pace. Staff were friendly and good spirited so a good night all round.
