We were doing some filming in the area and we arranged to have lunch at this pub. The food was really good - happy cast and crew - and the staff was very accommodating to say the least. It has a lovely garden at which...More

The staff are friendly enough and the food is a reasonable price. The menu is comprehensive. The inside of the pub is very tired with worn out carpeting and furnishings. The mens loo is in an adjacent building to the pub. The pub always seems...More

Dog friendly, family friendly pub in lovely location. Was moored at Marsworth on my boat for two weeks and spent quite a few afternoons and evenings here. Great beer, great food and very friendly staff and locals. Just what I want from a pub.

Well, I must say I found this pub just a tad on the quirky. The decor is 'different' but interesting, attractive and comfortable. We found the owners to be very friendly and welcoming. Their staff were efficient and very pleasant. We both had dishes from...More
