We arrived at the Master Builder’s after long and rather wet walk, it is a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. We ordered sandwiches and drinks. The sandwiches were delicious on really good quality fresh bread, the perfect stop off point in our walk!

Great night spent here. Great food and lovely staff. Rooms comfortable and well equipped! Dining room is gorgeous but not great for veggies! Pub does pizza and other pub grub. Good wine list and lovely breakfast options. Good views. Would recommend.

Had a couple of drinks here while visiting Bucklers Hard, a museum to the shipbuilding past of the area. Drinks reasonably priced. Restaurant menu looked a little pricey but the meals we saw being brought out looked nice.

Visited for lunch - very average super food salad and dry, gluten free bread. Toilets absolutely disgusting in the main hotel. Very dirty even the door plate to the Ladies. Lovely view outside is the one thing going for it.

Fish and chips arrived extremely quickly. Large Plate salad had to be returned as starter size for £14. It was added to. Wine expensive for quality. £10?large glass of Pinot noir not of good quality. Staff young and friendly.

This pub sits on the end of the 17th century terrace at Bucklers Hard. The service was nice, the drinks were priced well. the food looked good, but took over half an hour to come. It all tasted nice except for the bbq chicken pizza...More

Not too impressed! Not at all friendly if you don't book in advance. We were made to feel most uncomfortable. Having said that we managed to get a table in the bar & the food was very nice. Would not return.
