Cozy little restaurant by the Quay in Emsworth. Three courses of great standard at very good price. Will be going back to try dinner menu hopefully of an evening Emsworth parking will be less annoying. Only thing that could have been better was the weather...

Over the years, this place has continued to operate at the very highest level. It is, easily, the best place to enjoy a meal out in Emsworth, and is recommended 100%,

Small, discreet restaurant with food made with local produce. Great choice and everything we had to as delicious. There's a sense here that they're not about the money but they are more focused on great food and a pleasurable experience.

We went to Fat Olives for Valentines Dinner following recommendations from friends and were not disappointed. The staff are welcoming and courteous and the atmosphere inside is relaxing just perfect for a quiet meal. The menu was full of variety, I recommend the roast wood pigeon starter and duck breast main, they were both delightful, follow with the Sticky date... More

We have eaten here for many years, it's not local to us but so worth the trip, food aside which is sooooo good, Jools and Lawrence are delightful and just care.......about so many things and so many people which comes across in their food and service. Thank you to both of them for such a lovely restaurant.

Been wanting to dine at fat olives for a long time and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, very well presented, but what stood out for us was the service my husband is blind , the waiting staff were attentive (but not over the top) explaining each dish as they serve it. We eat out regularly but I... More

Situated in 30 South Street, Emsworth in a converted 17th century fisherman's cottage the decor and ambience was delightful. (Parking available opposite). It has about 20 covers with a selection of comfortable seating from 2 to 6+. A vast choice was available on the menu and the staff were attentive and helpful. There were six of us and and we... Not quite there considering the price. Food was ok but nothing special, wine was overpriced. All in all I would recommend walking the extra couple of steps down to 36 on the quay. Not saying this place is bad just not what I would call fine dining, the 3 young chefs maybe need an experienced hand to help them up... More
