We had a tasty lunch here before our walk. Lovely atmosphere with great staff. Reasonably priced food served with a smile.

Good food, wine and beer served by very friendly staff in a traditional pub atmosphere. An excellent find. We will return again.

Came across this pub, after a long River walk. The Sunday roast was right up there, as was the beer. The staff were helpful and very friendly.

It was great taking my dogs into the pub,they had some water from the water dish provided,they were also given a dog treat 😊 I decided to go back outside to sit in the sun while I ate my tuna mayonnaise sandwich and enjoyed my...More

Not been to the red lion for years but recently moved to s nearby village. Very impressed by the decor and the food has been very nice both visits so far! We shall definitely be back shame to of missed the Tapas night!

Went there with a group of 10 having pre-booked a meal. Excellent food and service and very good real ale. Friendly and efficient staff.

Lovely pub . Food was presented well . Only downside was female server was miserable. Didnt even smile. What a shame .

Excellent Sunday lunch and choice of well kept cask ales. We took our dogs and were made very welcome so will have this top of our list for a stop just a few miles off the M5.
