This is one of the best Italian restaurants!!!!

This is one of the best Italian Restaurants. The staff, and food excel, in every way. Thank you. Can’t wait to go back when the Restrictions are over. In the meantime we will have a takeaway.

Birthday meal

A friendly welcome and atmosphere, nice authentic music. The tuna steak was amazing. All fish, and meat dishes looked excellent. Enjoyed dessert too :) Fairly covid safe

The food is divine!

We have been to Il Mondo twice, very friendly staff and a very clean restaurant. During Covid hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance. The food is absolutely delicious and sufficient and was served very speedy. Great atmosphere, great food and friendly staff. Can't recommend...it enough.More

Lovely meal well looked after

We went with family and friends to celebrate my husband's birthday and retirement. We had a wonderful meal which was delicious and very had generous portions. They sang Happy Birthday with a small candle in his ice cream to mark the occasion. We will certainly...be going back.More

Excellent Lunch (Again!)

Another really fabulous lunch! This is such a fantastic restaurant, the food is amazing and as it is quite large, social distancing can be accommodated and it felt safe and clean. In these tough times for the hospitality industry, I would highly recommend this place...- great choice, good value, helpful staff and also family friendly. I believe that they are also extending the Eat Out To Help Out Offer for this month (September 2020) but better check first...More

Most Enjoyable Birthday Meal

During my recent visit to Southend staying with Friends who was celebrating a Birthday we had a most enjoyable meal and evening. The welcome was warm and friendly. Sanitizing station on entry and the tables were well spaced from each other, which made us feel...very safe and comfortable. Food was excellent lots of Menu choices and a Special Board. Service was First Class, Friendly and Professional and it has a lovely Atmosphere. We girls had a most enjoyable evening and Thank You All for making the evening and very enjoyable Birthday Celebration. Looking forward to my next visit !!!More
