No pre ordering at busy times so only option is to wait. Fish excellent, chips floppy. Plaice was very good and fresh. They do fry in beef dripping though like nearly all east coast chippies so no good if you are vegan or vegetarian

As expected on a glorious sunny Sunday afternoon in half term, there was a little wait for our order to come through (take away) but it was so worth it. Excellent and good portion size. Would definitely return if we go to Southwold again!

Go for a light lunch but not if you’re ravenous after a long walk as whist the food is about as good as it gets, the portions just felt parsimonious and they could afford to be more generous as their food feeds the soul !
