We stopped there for some late lunch. They were busy but very efficient. We ordered our food and drinks. Unfortunately after the drinks arrived, my husband fell ill and had to be taken to hospital. The staff were incredibly helpful calling for ambulance, giving him...sugary drinks and snacks etc... Our food was put into boxes to take out. What was eaten was delicious. Had things been different, we would have had a lovely time there. Couldn’t recommend enough.More

I had not been to The Blind Piper since 2019 due to the Covid restrictions. I knew they had revamped the Garden area for a lot more outdoor dining so I gave it a try today. Leaving aside the menu for a moment, I was...very impressed with the Covid safety measures, which I had been worried about. But the whole operation is superbly managed by all the staff. The outdoor dining is on a first come first served basis, and for lunch there was plenty of “socially distanced” tables. Plenty of signs and for anyone going there for dinner, one must wait to be seated. After selecting your dish(es) from the board or free standing menu, there was a single point for ordering and paying. You are given a table number and sit down. All staff wear masks, customers arrive wearing masks, all tables once vacated as far as I could see were sprayed and wiped clean. My lunch was delicious, the cider chilled to perfection and I enjoyed every morsel. I hinted at the start I hope, that due to my age I was reluctant to dine out anywhere, but I was delighted with the whole operation it was seamless and gave me a great deal of confidence eating out. My thanks to the management and staff for a most pleasant experience.More

I have constantly enjoyed food here. This bar has succeeded in managing the covid restrictions very successfully. The outdoor eating area is covered and works well in some wet weather. The service is well organised and very efficient. The menu is well priced and the...food is always of a very good standard. Well done Blind Piper.More

Nice food but waited over 1 hour to get it. When we complained about the wait we were meet by the rudest waiter in Kerry. The waiting staff could learn a thing or two about how to treat their customers- won’t be back.

Incredible pub / restaurant. Beautiful outdoor seating area, and ideal for couples or families and pets. Food is amazing and reasonably priced. But you may have to wait for a table at busy times. Staff also excellent and Guinness is delicious

Beautiful food and despite the pressures that COVID entails extremely friendly staff. Plenty of space outdoors and the Guinness is nice too!

The Blind Piper was so good we ended up going a second night. The staff are absolutely exceptional. They are so friendly, helpful and accommodating! Everything had lots of friendly chat and great advice. Another reason to go is the food was so good. Great...variety in the menu. Between us we tried the burgers, tacos, curries and all were delicious and absolutely perfect portions! To add to all of this they do a great pint and a great glass of wine. Highly, highly recommend and we will all be going back (again).More

I absolutely loved this pub. We had come out of lockdown and all the precautions were in place. We felt very safe and the staff made us so welcome. It was so nice that we came back the next night on our staycation last August....Thank you for making the effort and being so pleasant.More
