My fiance and I live in the area and we've heard good things about Door 142 so we decided to give it a try. Door 142 is a small quaint resteraunt/bar in Fredericktown Ohio. We stopped around 6 pm and the place wasn't busy. When...More
In this small little quaint city is a refurbished restaurant from a 1950's hotel. Clever, unique and should be in Columbus' Shirt North!
What a gem! Take a quick ride and you'll find great food, great atmosphere and and an amazing effort that brought back...More
Nice, clean restaurant with a nice menu. Although there were some tempting dishes on the menu, I went with the waitress' recommendation of their yummy hamburgers. It was! A hotel in its former life years ago, a lot of the old charm still exists. Doors...More
Kudos to Door 142, with its simple decor and smart, limited menu. The vegetables were super fresh & nicely cooked. The smoked trout was wonderful--apparently it's also local. And a big shout out for the Canoli Cake. Excellent service.

Inside is fairly nice but in my experience the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Ribeye medium rare and it was grey, nowhere near medium rare with ZERO flavor and loads of gristle. Not surprising that they get the beef from...More
We were in the area and asked about a place to get lunch. This place is unique, has old tin ceiling and adequate seating. The waitress was very friendly and the food was good We had wraps and lemonade. Would go there again if in...More
Fredericktown needed a restaurant in their downtown, but we had no idea it was going to be this good. This place is a destination because of the wonderful food in an intimate setting. The smoked trout was the best I have had. After seeing them,...More
