We stopped here for breakfast before a long road trip and it was a GREAT stop. We had The Feed Bin. It was an amazing open face burrito loaded high with grilled sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs topped with fried potatoes, sautéed green peppers and onions....We paid an extra $1 and got the gravy. The breakfast was made fresh and everyone who helped us, from figuring out what to eat, to getting drinks and checking on us while we were eating were very nice and friendly. We walked around the store and they had a lot of yummy food to buy and other items of interest. We ended up buying the Apple Pull-Apart to eat in the car and it was a good choice!More

It is a convenient little store when you need something. However, you can’t leave without buying cookies. It will become a staple if you visit this store. The cookies are amazing!

The food was good and the building is really cute. That was a treat to go in and eat. A variety of foods and other little things to look at. If you want to take the food home it is easy because it is already...in carry home containers if you want, I ate in and it was fun.More

This was a charming little store tucked into the hillside of a small downtown area. It offered a lot of sweet treats by a local bakery. I didn't see any gluten free options but they had a variety of pies, cakes, cheese, meats and candy...and bulk food. They also offered a small menu for lunch and dinner as well as a small ice cream corner.More

Great local stop, owned locally and operated locally. Amazing meats and cheeses, deli items, sweets, and so much more. Space to eat in and choose from their menu. Breakfast, lunch, AND dinner. Local produce and fixings for whatever you might be working on. Looking for...hard dip and soft serve ice cream? They have that too!More

This quaint restaurant has it all, dine in or carry out, produce, frozen entrees, pies, chocolates, bulk food... It is a nice place to go for a pizza lunch buffet or soup and salad. It is a little pricey for the type of food you...are buying.More

This is comfort food and classic Midwest cuisine. Anything from made to order sandwiches and pastries to a lunch buffet which is a local favorite spot. It's like walking into the past in a good way. The staff always deliver a good product.

Fredericktown is NOT what it what it used to be. How wonderful to see the changes. And Taste of Country is just one of several amazing new places to eat. It's a market with fresh and packaged groceries, a deli with great meals for eat-in...or take-out, a buffet and banquet room, a bakery with pies like none you've ever tasted, an ice cream shop and a chocolatier. Had a home cooked lunch and took a huge cherry pie and real chocolate turtles with their little pecan feet sticking out. We will be back to sample more of the latest treasures in this town.More
