Looked around the main street and found this lovely street view Eatery. We had Spaghetti & Meatballs, Pechetti Sub and enjoyed them. Sat outside since the weather permitted and crowd watched. Meatballs had a little zing and were very tasty. Sub was a little different...than I usually order but would put it on my list of order again. Iced Tea was as should be - Sweet. Our Server Mary did a very nice job.

Loved the inside of the building. We ended up being seated in a cozy nook-kind of area. All brick inside - old downtown building. Came for lunch during the week. Service was pretty fast. Pizza is very thin, but as the name says, wood-fired so...not like a Donatos. Not my favorite choice of pizza, but good taste for the type that it is. Pretty pricey, but saves on a trip to Columbus for non-chain food.More
The wood fired pizzas and salads are worth coming for! Hands down the best wood fired pizza around. The vinaigrette salad dressing is delicious. We’ve had other items as well but pizza and salad is always our go to.
We sat at the bar which is where the wood fired grill is. You can watch them prepare the pizzas and sandwiches and watch the the grill master-it's really a work off art!
We've had the pizza, Italian sausage, roast beef sandwich and canoli-everything was...delicious!
Perfect for a date night, with friends. Or family.More
Been to Amato’s several times and food is consistently great as well as the service! Best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve had and all the other pasta dishes are good as well. I myself prefer a pan type crust but the brick oven pizza is great...if you like a thin crust.More
