Came in for my son's graduation. We were looking for something. In a nut shell amazing. I had soft shell crab. Very good. Amazing was lobster cheese grits with scallops and shrimp. Crab cakes and cheese corn apps were awesome. Entree was Grouper with lobster mash potatos and zuchinni. Over all a great place. Only down side or thinking about... More

I ate the whole thing and it was a nice size. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were so fresh! YUM!

A quirky little spot without a license. We go for the food which is prepared fresh as you wait. Full meals or sandwiches have always been wonderful. They do a variety of things with fish; so watch for it when it's on the menu. A couple things to know in advance: You need to BYOB if you choose. There is... More

I've eaten at many of the restaurants in Cuyahoga Falls, and this one has my favorite dishes. The deliciously creative combinations of fresh ingredients are always a pleasure, and the friendly service is a pleasure too.

I have been to the Chowder House four times in recent months. The menu is interesting with daily specials. Grouper with lobster stuffing has been my favorite. Bring your own wine and pay the corkage fee.

This place is sneaky good. Very small and tucked behind a gas station off of State Rd. My family has been eating here for years and are rarely disappointed. Fresh seafood, pasta, steak, pork, all the good stuff. The Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder are delicious and usually very generous with the meat. The fish of the day is hard... More

This is a outstanding restaurant. The owners used to run a similar restaurant in the Valley which was good, but this place blows it out of the water. They have excellent seafood dishes, the best we have found in the Akron area.

Went there on a Thursday evening. Very clever sort of a hippy period décor that was short of eclectic. . . it was not a boring environment and no doubt more lively on the weekend. They are working hard to make this an attractive place. They need to keep working. By virtue of the name, Chowder House, the menu was... More

We've eaten their twice and very much enjoyed the entrees especially the fish. Nice atmosphere but not a large seating area. Only draw back, you have to bring your own wine.

Love, love, love the twisted noodles with tuna, but there is so much more on this menu. The chef is wonderful.
