It's a standard jewish deli on a nice location in german village. The food was good. They offer free pickles which is a highlight. The prices were a bit on the high side. $2.25 for a 2 by 1 inch brownie and $3.25 for a 3 inch diameter latke. its counter service style place.

I was very excited to go finally to this place. I was anxious to be in such an historic place, but I did not like it. All the food prepared inside the refrigerator looked old. Then I decided to go for the traditional cornbeef sandwich. It was Ok. The place looked not very clean to me. The girl who took... More

Such good sandwiches! Wish they had had red cabbage but the potato salad was really good. Located in the historic German district, there is street parking but not a lot of it. Inside it is typical deli style with a bunch of tables that seat 4 and a counter where you order your meal. You also clean off your own... More

We stopped on a Saturday afternoon looking for an adult beverage and a snack. We found both and had a great experience.

Our friends suggested this place for much while we were visiting Columbus. The food was fresh and served quickly. Small dining area so expect a small wait to be able to eat in.

The turkey Rueben was amazing! It comes with Cole slaw but I exchanged that for sauerkraut because I like sauerkraut better. I asked for more thousands island dressing. So good!!

Love virtually everything available at this Deli. You will too. Come at an off time so you have a chance to look at everything without the pressure of lunchtime. Sandwiches are way bigger than you expect and the meat is to die for. love this place. Only negative is parking at high volume times

Tons of options for cheese, breads and sandwiches. Grab a custom sandwich and pickle or fresh side for lunch or to go.

Description
Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984!
Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon!

We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.
