The reuben had lots of meat and the bread was toasted perfectly. The dill pickle was the perfect complement. Split a piece of the New York style cheesecake - left satisfied

As the title suggests, this deli has a variety of delicious sandwiches and pickles that you can fish out of a bucket, for free, when you buy a sandwich. This was one of the first eateries I came to after moving to German Village, and...More

The menu is GIGANTIC however I recommend the classic Reuben and Matzo ball soup if you’re not craving something in particular. With every sandwich you purchase they have free pickles which was a fun little extra. Everything was very flavorful and freshly made. Staff was...More

Whether you eat at the original Katzinger's on S. Third St. in German Village or from their booth at the North Market, if you like deli sandwiches, you'll love Katzinger's. President Clinton dined at the one on S. Third St. when he visited Columbus while...More

Went to the Katzinger's in North Market. It was top notch as always. Never a bad lunch at this place. Little pricey, but it is quality.

I went to Katzinger's based on the recommendation of my co-workers. Located very close to downtown Columbus and easy to find (parking is available behind the restaurant). This restaurant gives you the true 'Delicatessen' feel as soon as you walk through the door: loaves of...More

Katzinger's is my favorite restaurant in Columbus. Authentic and high quality deli style food. Every conceivable combination of pastrami, corned beef, roast beef, salami, ham, turkey, smoked tongue, chopped chicken liver, lox, Russian dressing, mustard, cole slaw, sauerkraut, hot, cold, toasted, rye, sourdough, whole wheat,...More

Our relatives took us here when we were visiting. This is not a place you would stumble upon, but something the locals would know. It blew us away. Imagine a quality (almost Amish-like) delicatessen with cheap prices and a massive selection of goods. We came...More

I was visiting Columbus and ate at Katzinger's three times. Each time I enjoyed delicious sandwiches and deli items that I have not seen outside of NYC. The giant barrels held the best pickles I've had in years! My sandwiches were a little spendy, but...More

They serve breakfast all day. They are open 9-8 on the weekends and 10-8 on weekdays. Their bagel with salmon and cream cheese deserves a try.

Description
Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984! Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon! We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.
