We went out of our way to visit this restaurant. We saw this place on man vs food and had to try it. Worth the trip for the all you can eat sausage and sides.

Obviously this is a Columbus institution, so we had to try it although I am definitely not a fan of German food. The much-hyped pork shank was pretty good, a huge chunk of moist meat but a bit bland. The accompanying mashed potatoes were excellent....More

Busy place with a polka party vibe! We waited for about 20 minutes for a seat. It was Saturday night after all. We were told about the buffet which had all the German sides you can imagine and mostly various sausages. I ordered the sauerbraten...More

Wanted to try something a bit away from campus. Located on a quiet street in the German Village, service was prompt and friendly. A noisy place, full of families. We had the sausage sampler, sauerbraten, and schnitzel, and each enjoyed our order very much. Good...More

I have only been there during the week. Both times I was there, I know the buffet opened at 11:00 am. Not sure when it ends. Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer.

This iconic German Village restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate with family and friends. For five generations we have been serving authentic German food. Our sausage has become so famous that the Bahama Mama has been voted the official food of Columbus and the building is registered as a historic landmark. Come take a trip around our Autobahn Buffet or, if you want something other than sausage, try one of our traditional German dinners. Of course, for dessert, you can have one of our half-pound jumbo cream puffs. Stop in today and celebrate with us!
