Numerous empty tables and booths. We’re they had a ‘’couple of reservations” and could sit at some stools in the corner. There were two open tables right in front of us and other booths completely empty. Clearly they didn’t want to serve us, and told...them so. Manager and hostess ignored our comments and clearly didn’t care. Clearly, no interest in doing business with us.More

I didn't know much about this restaurant before going - but wow - we will certainly go again. The food and service were outstanding

How wonderful to find a restaurant of this quality open on a Monday when so many are closed Sun through Wed due to COVID. We were delighted with the quality of food and server suggestions. Menu was limited, but with enough basic, as well as...edgy items to satisfy most. Salmon and grilled seafood items had a flavorful seasoning and were grilled to perfection, not overdone. Nutmeg and clove blended into the cauliflower puree and the broccolini texture were a very pleasant surprise -- burrata for salad creamy and beignets divine. Servers were attentive and, although we noticed a very large and apparently popular wine selection -- upscale design and ambience.More

Lovely meal with great service. Jay had wonderful recommendations, from wine, to dishes, to photography sites for me and my son. Delightful evening. Thanks Jay.

Due to COVID situation, we were looking for quality dinner to take out. Adega did not disappoint! The flatbreads and the salmon were excellent. And the beignets were a delightful dessert! Would love to return post pandemic and enjoy the ambiance as well as the...food.More

This restaurant was very promising with high star rating. We were very disappointed. First, we came on Saturday night at 8 p.m. we got the menus and we discovered that they were out of chicken. Our first dishes were good , nothing special. The margarita...that we ordered was one of the smallest that we ever drank ( but far from the cheapest). My wife's main dish was fine , but nothing extraordinary, mine came cold in the inside. The waiter was nice and quickly change my dish and did not charge me for it. The dessert was not to my taste at all and was in a small portion as well. We left 100$ with tip and it was one of our most disappointing dinners. Maybe at other time it will be much better. I will not return!More

A beautifully appointed spot on the first floor of The Nine, Adega is inviting and comfortable. The waitstaff is both knowledgeable and accommodating without hovering. The Goat Cheese Campanelle is served in a piping hot cast iron rectangular pan. It is lightly spiced with dollops...of goat cheese baked on top of the pasta and is delicious. The Rigatoni Bolognese is started several days before service in order to meld the flavors. The microplaned fennel on top is perfect with the creamy and zesty sauce, it too, is delicious. The Brick Oven Chicken is served with almost too al dente chive risotto and tomato sauced Spanish green beans. The chicken is moist and falling-off-the-bone tender. For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the ricotta and fresh raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. This lighter side dessert spares no quantity if any berry or ricotta. The individual cheesecake is deliciously prepared with flavorful hazelnut base atop a raspberry sauce. The olive oil chocolate cake was underwhelming although beautifully presented. There is a well stocked bar, also. A lovely evening.More

We had dinner at this later in the evening. It was not busy but there was a large number of staff. The service was very slow and not very good except for Fielding (he saved the evening because of his attentive and helpful service). The...menu is not real interesting but our choices were good (not great). The wine list was solid. We weren’t offered dessert so I can’t comment on the choices! We won’t return. There are better places in downtown Cleveland.More

If you spend $30 or more at Adega, and show your receipt to the valet, then you are given $5 off. I was told by some of my guests that this only applies Sunday through Thursday.
