My husband and myself are from Louisiana, we moved up here and was very excited to find a restaurant that cooked "homemade" dishes. I have NEVER been so disappointed!! The food was Slop!! He takes great Louisiana recipes and alters them to taste Nothing like Louisiana cooking. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone for la dishes.

Some friends and I were in the area and wanted to try something new and unique. The place is rather hard to find, since they do not really have a real sign. The atmosphere was nice, the decorations are cute and charming for the setting. The owner, or who we assumed as the owner, was nice but a little forward.... More

Don't come here if you are in a hurry...but if you are interested in unusual, very well-prepared cajun food with substantial portions and a quirky chef, definitely come. We had beans and rice and the chicken croquettes as well as a fish po'boy. We thought the flavors were perfect.

All of the food was amazing! Host was charming and it paid off to eat what he recommended! Some people complain the service is too leisurely, but it's perfect given the overall experience. If you are in a hurry, try McDonalds. If you are willing to slow down, savor phenomenal food and enjoy a unique experience get to this restaurant.

We waited for about 1hr and half for two entries! There're only 4 more guest dine in, the food taste OK, not worth the price though. Absolutely not recommend!

B&D is an infrequent regular for us. Food is always great. Service can be, let's say, leisurely with a staff of two cooking and serving up to 20 people, plus 10 more at the bar. Junior makes you feel welcome and when you see how busy he is you do not feel bad about the wait. Atmosphere is modest but... More

Drove there from Geauga County based on reviews. Not the least bit disappointed. Junior was an incredible host and chef. The General Jacksons Chicken was to die for. He warned us that it was spicey, and he was correct, but boy was it worth it!!!!! Also the chicken Remoulade was crazy good!!!! The Hospitality was nothing I have ever experienced before.... More

Amazing food in a "hole in a wall". They really know how to cook Cajun. You'd think you were in a bayou swamp cabin. Worth the short 15 minute drive from Cleveland.

A buddy and I visited this establishment about a month ago. The people working there were nice, however, it took us about 20 minutes to get served and 2 hours to get food. We arrived at about 8pm and did not leave until well after 11. It's a smaller place not ventilated all that well. I would not walk in... More

Great place with only about 20 seats total so I hate to tell anyone. One of my favorite places in Cleveland. Owner Junior cooks, waits tables and most of all makes you feel extremely welcome. I lived in New Orleans and the shrimp poboy is on par with those in the crescent city. Very good jambalaya, RB&R, gumbo, but all... More
