Nice place. Had the cajun burger. and it was very good. Big burger for the price. The flavor was just shy of great. The wife had the fish and chips. The fish was very tasty and melts in your mouth. Very tender with great crunch outside. She only eat about half her order. There was so much food. She had... More

After all the rave reviews my husband and I read about this place, we decided to try it. First there was the $2 charge to park in the lot across the street because we didn't have any change for the meter. We ordered on the end of the lunch hour and didn't see our food for 30 mins. If you... More

The Old Flat Iron had more ambiance, the revised one has descent food, but still is a great place to have a sandwich and a beer and watch a game. I do not recommend going on band night as it is way too loud.

We went on a weeknight for dinner hoping to find some native Lake Erie food. On offer was lake perch. We tried that and the fish and chips and both were tasty. Atmosphere was nice with the river just outside the window and prices were to be expected for the area.

We were going to The Q for the TSO concert and wanted a place nearby with room to park. We looked around at many places but parking is at a premium there. We had a little trouble finding it as it is a bit out of the way but parking was no problem. The neighborhood didn't appear to be the... More

Stopped here for lunch, they have a nice craft beer selection, some that are actually kind of hard to find. It's the king of place that has at least something to please most everyone

We have been coming here for perch off and on for 30 years. Love the location and atmosphere. My husband worked on the Great Lakes so spent time at this spot working his way through college. I will say that our lunch yesterday was not the best, the perch was good, the fries too plentiful and not very hot. But......I... More

We decided to eat at the Flat Iron Cafe on a recent visit to Cleveland. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with a "wait to be seated" sign, which some people seemed to ignore. I personally stood by this sign for about 7 minutes before being acknowledged. A simple nod or smile would have been nice. When I finally... More

Went here for lunch based on a recommendation and found this to be a great restaurant. The people are friendly and the food was excellent. The servings are very large so don't order too much.

Found by searching the downtown area on Google Maps/Yelp. Worth the effort to locate. Try the meat loaf sliders - absolutely delicious!
