Great food and friendly service from Nick and his team at this family friendly restaurant. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere no end.

I have tried this restaurant on numerous visits to Yungaburra - each time thinking perhaps it's just what I ordered that wasn't so good. But I have now come to the conclusion that total menu is very ordinary and restaurant is very over rated. I have eaten nothing there that I have really enjoyed and head waitress/maitre d needs to... Friendly service from the moment I arrived - in fact before the restaurant opened. Warm greetings, welcoming conversation and good advice about the menu. The food was delicious and the high point of my trip to the Far North - despite having lots of great fresh food elsewhere.

The food here is pretty good and the chef actually knows how to cook a steak, it's great seeing the chef pop out the front to the herb garden, great spot and can't wait to come back

You can't go wrong with a visit to Nick's place.....a diversity of great food, Nick the owner has a hearth for his customer as he yodels and plays the accordion for the guests while they enjoy a great steak or homemade pizza and yummy deserts.

The atmosphere is very cozy with a very European touch, and the staff is friendly. However the pumpkin soup was way too thick and tasteless. The salad was tasty however for a $17 the large size was rather small and the Caesar salad was served with cold bacon which looked like straight from the fridge and just chugged on.

Years ago we had a very pleasant dining experience at Nick's restaurant but unfortunately it has lost its aura. Our soup arrived 45 mins after we had ordered and it was barely warm. The entree and mains were fine but nothing to rave about. Overall our anniversary celebration was very disappointing.

Food and wine overpriced. Steak was tough and fish flavourless. Restaurant was almost empty yet they were not taking any more bookings. My guess the chef had not turned up or they were not expecting any people (even though we had made a booking). They explained to us they were short staffed even though it was the start of the... Had been to Nick's once before this review with friends and to be honest the first time I had no issues. We ordered pizza and calzones then so I figured we'd go back and try it again. This place has had some interesting reviews on Trip Advisor but we thought we'd go anyway. First of all for those who haven't... More

Had the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful heritage village around lunch time. Dropped into this place for a pizza but we also offered al a carte from the restaurant if we preferred. Very professional courteous staff. Shared a pizza and garlic bread with my partner. Serving sizes were generous. Food was very fresh and tasty. No rush to get you... More
