A well deserved ice cream after an Emerald Creek visit, on the way back to Cairns. Friendly staff and excellent ice-cream, it will brighten your day.

We decided to call in here for ice creams after seeing it in local brochures advertising the Atherton tablelands and Kuranda. I chose a macadamia and caramel single cone and my partner a banana split. They were both delicious. It was interesting watching the trays of ice cream being made and reading about the history of ice cream. There is... More

nice drive for light refreshment and pleasant surroundings. Lunches are not available, only tea, coffee, icecream, sorbet, waffles, apple pie. It is out of town approximately fifteen minutes and open from 9am to 4pm which restricts availability.

Hi Barbara, Thank you for your review; it makes our day to receive positive feedback. Visitors can choose from 21 flavours (14 ice-creams & 7 sorbets) on display, but because we make just under 50 flavours we change them up every few days, so if you re-visit you will see new options all the time. Just to confirm, trading hours... More

This unexpected cafe along the road to Mareeba is worthy of a stop to enjoy their home made ice cream along with other homemade products. You can sit and enjoy a treat either inside or outside.

We vusited this place as pert of Bretts Outback Tasting tour. The place is interesting and has a great range of icecreams and sorbets made on the premises. They aso do fudge which due to the weather was not setting. Wefelt the small samples at $3.50 were expensive. Well worth a visit.

Dropped in here last week as we are staying in the area, ice cream was ok but nothing special. Called in again today and waited for at least ten minutes to be served , a group of six others left but we stayed as we thought we would be next up. Wrong... A small tour bus arrived and the tour... A quick stop here for us all to grab an ice cream. They were yummy and had some interesting flavours I hadn't seen before including macadamia nut and caramel (YUM) and wattle. Not cheap but definitely superior ice cream. Friendly folk too.
