Went here for breakfast and was immediately blown away by the beauty of the place. Surrounded by a large tranquil garden the restaurant added to the serenity of the whole establishment. Coffee was good and although I didn't enjoy my breakfast (poor choice?) the other members of our small party certainly enjoyed theirs. Next time I will order something else!

My family and I recently met for a Saturday afternoon lunch at Spicers Tamarind and the food was amazing. The service was excellent and the wine menu extensive. We have eaten at restaurants all around the world and this was the best. Treat yourself and eat here, you will not be disappointed.

Well, what an occasion, some relaxing time to be driven to dinner from Montville, the sunny Coast high country (temps are 4 oC lower), to this Pan-Asian restaurant nearby in Maleny. The night was cooling but I am expecting some plates with spice. Two very full glasses of champagne appeared; the cue to test the nibbles. First off was a... More

Beautiful night of excellent food in a pleasant garden setting with great staff. Don't forget to ask for the vegetarian menu, up there as one of our favourite starter's was the Dtom Kha soup, so delicious and on the A la Carte menu in starters was the Confit Salmon (this is Japanese style) magnificent For mains we ordered the Southern... The food here is really very good. I'd describe it as modern upmarket, pan-Asian. The seafood orange curry with soft-shell crab came loaded up with beautiful seafood and was absolutely delicious. The twice cooked duck was good, although not quite as good as the curry. There were a number of dishes that had strong appeal from the menu here. The... More

Went for dinner which was very good but perhaps we misunderstood the explanation of a couple of dishes. We're a little disappointed that two dishes we ordered were cold when we thought they would be hot. Still tasted good but not what we expected. Service couldn't be faulted and wines were reasonable.

We went to the Tamarind to celebrate a birthday. The waiter suggested that we try food from all over the menu and allow for all the party to taste the wonderful food. We had 2 starters, 3 small plates and three different large plates. It is a taste sensation. Presentation was fabulous and service was good. Highly recommend this restaurant... More

My girlfriend and I dined here for a belated Valentines dinner. Once you get used to the different sized options on the menu, you are good to go. The flavours were creative and the prices reasonable. Mooloolaba prawns are to die for. We'll be back
