There is even a small museum dedicated to the "longest milk run in the world" - this tropical dairy country is a real eye-opener, and this great cafe is attached to the actual working milk factory

Stopped here as a pitstop, could not have chosen any better place for a coffee and cheesecake! They have many different cakes, all look very delicious, fresh (well, as the name says cant get any fresher :)) Coffee was also excellent, with real friendly service!

A must visit for a relaxing coffee and something to eat. My family and I travel up to Malanda every weekend and always look forward to coffee and a toasted sandwich. And of course a bit of cake. They also make delicious curries. Amazing service that is friendly and welcoming.

Lovely place for a meal. Not open every day though. Lovely Art works on the walls. Outdoor dining area as well. Statues and old tractor out the front. Plenty of parking. Highly recomend a visit.

We stopped here unintentionally after seeing the waterfalls and so glad we did. Apart from the delicious smoothies, sorbet and brownies we had and the great service, the cafe is setup like a farm shed and tells the history of the area. There is a train carriage where you can sit and learn about the dairy process and the kids... More

Not just a café. Very interesting historical display of early pioneering life on the tablelands, with memorabilia from the early dairy industry. Love the art and craft gallery and was tempted to buy a few items. Then the food. Coffee, cakes - mmm. More substantial lunches were also available. The café was pretty packed. We called in again on the... More

Our social riding group rang a day ahead and booked a table for Sunday's lunch for around 15 riders. We have previously dined at Malanda Dairy Centre but our visits have been very sporatic over several years to say the least. Surprisingly, the staff member who took the booking remembered our riding group's name and recalled that we had twice... More

When you first walk in, the Dairy Centre surprises you on how big it is inside and how nice the menu is. The food is always lovely, especially the salads...and I normally don't order salads.
