Rosie built the amazing local reputation of this place over many many years. When the new guys took over there were fears expressed. Yes it has changed the menu but the experience is still totally unique and wonderful. Where else do you get Sugar Gliders at the table, abundant wildlife just off the verandah, and a gifted Patisseur. The menu... More

Friday night buffet. The food was very nice. Good quality and fresh tasting. The deserts are to die for. I especially enjoyed the Apple crumble and cream. Reminded me of warm cosy winters night when I was a kid in UK. Husband enjoyed the baked cheesecake. Heaven. 😁

Food was great, service was fast and the cake to celebrate our anniversary was out of this world. Clean, quiet and special.

Restaurant was not operation after we had travelled all day and expected to enjoy a lovely meal while we relaxed on the deck. Had tried numerous times throughout the day the 'confirm our order before 5 pm' as instructed but no answer and no return call. Too late once we got there to bring anything in. Had to travel back... Dear Laraine, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Cedar Park. First, you told me you had been to Cedar Park for a meal before so you were already familiar with our out of the way situation and unique accommodation. Second, you pinned your stay on eating dinner in our restaurant which is what you enjoyed last... More

While staying at Cedar Park we had to pre order our food from a limited menu but saying that the food was cooked freshly and was delicious. All ingredients were locally sourced and couldn't have been fresher. A big thumbs up from us.

I've eaten at this beautiful rainforest hideaway on a number of occasions and it is yet to disappoint! Beef, lamb, chicken, seafood & pasta dishes. Try the Tasmanian salmon, the local beef fillet, the garlic prawns or the calamari in particular. Beautiful bruschetta & the soup of the day is always a treat. There is a sign at the Clohesy... Wow what a little hidden gem the food was absolutely to die for! The garlic prawns for the entrée is a must, complements to Tim the chef :) The service was friendly and the location is beautiful. Well worth the trip.

This restaurant seems to be in the middle of nowhere so it's surprising it attracts as many customers as it does. I went there in Winter and in the evening which I feel is probably the worst time to go cos I was so cold I couldn't really enjoy my meal so I suggest wearing some layers. The food is... More

The Restaurant at Cedar Park is for accommodation guests only. Guests are welcome to stroll our lawns and mango trees, lay in the hammocks, take photos with wallabies, wade in the creek and even trek into the national park if you are feeling ambitious. There is a separate activity area for kids (without video games or TV) so if the adults want to enjoy a long lunch the younger ones can entertain themselves. On cool nights we light the wood burning fireplace. Have a hot drink and toast a marshmallow in the fire.
