By far the best cafe around. We run a removal company so pop in regularly. The food and drinks are always good, the place is clean and the start friendly and polite. Most of our guys have the full English breakfast with is always superb...👌🏻More

Went in for lunch and eventually found a table, the place was packed which is always a good sign. Suited city gents, families, workmen, old and young proves this place has something for everyone. I settled for their Porky panini (sausage, bacon & cheese) and...my wife had the Mexican version (chicken & chilli) both with a good salad. Tea & Coffee served first with the piping hot large and well stocked panini following fairly quickly after. Food was excellent, service quick and price really top notch at less than £11 for the lot. No flash decor just a basic place with real people serving up a good quality product range. One I will certainly be going back to.More

We visited due to the good reviews...mmmm not sure who they've been left by, but our experience was dire! "homemade" soup out of a Heinz tin, sawdust sausages, greasiest fried bread EVER!! Egg shell on fried egg and hair on bacon and nothing more than...excuses rather than a proper apology or any sort of recompense. The reason for one star is the coffee was nice.More

I’m lucky to live fairly close to the Pump House. Have never been disappointed. Friendly service with good food well cooked and presented. Can be busy at peak times but that’s a great sign. Heading down shortly for breakfast as a treat.

We stopped by here based on the reviews and we were not at all disappointed. Lovely open and clean cafe and a lovely lady served us. I had the Pumphouse breakfast and my colleague had the baguette. All great value for money, I swapped out...the hash browns for black pudding (great decision and I would recommend you do the same, since when did hash browns become part of an English breakfast anyway). Lovely big mug of tea to compliment it so all good. Really prompt service with nice, hot, fresh food. If I were to offer one piece of feedback I would have preferred nice sausages, they are so obviously cheap ones, and charge me extra for them it would still be good value. Highly recommended.More

Out for a walk and called in here for coffee. Hubby also had a piece of carrot cake which was very tasty.

Average coffee house, plenty of tables and chairs and offers all sorts of food and fry ups. Some very large meals advertised on the walls for pr booking only too.

Never disappointed at the Pumphouse whether it’s for breakfast with work colleagues during the week, lunch with friends or brunch at a weekend. Always busy which is always a good sign, quick service, food excellent and value for money. Nothing is too much trouble and...service is always with a smile no matter how busy they are. Keep up the good work, love coming to eat at The Pumphouse.More
