I've never had a bad meal from June Plum. I've working through the menu since the pandemic restrictions kicked in and I'm just so excited to be able (when the time comes) to eat at the restaurant again.
Ordered food online around 6pm, after they had accepted the payment, delivery was confirmed for being 2 hours 45 minutes, phoned restaurant to see if delivery time would be that long, they assured that it would be no longer than an hour and a half....3 hours after ordering, food arrives around 9pm, half of the order was missing, when we phoned up to inform them half the order was missing and what did arrive was cold when we rang to tell them this they copped out and blamed it on the lady who took our order over the phone, even though we ordered online.
Had many issues when ordering takeaway food before, looked past it, won’t be ordering again, quality of their food has also seemed to have gone down hill the past 18 months or so also, which is a shame as I have been a customer for 6/7 years.More

So sorry to hear about the issues with your food and deliveries. We hate to let our customers down. I’d really like the opportunity to speak to you and make it up to you. I’d also like to hear about your issues in more detail...More
Having known about June Plum for a number of years now (ever since the food truck Jamrock days) - was really excited to introduce this to my wife.
Both really loved the lobster mac and cheese, boom shakkalakka fries and fried chicken especially. Will definitely...order again when we get guests!More
This place is awesome, I have eaten here a few times now and am never disappointed. Fantastic dishes, wonderful sauces and plenty of tasty extras. Red stripe on tap as well 🔥 Best food in Wellingborough.
OK So I eat regularly here and although I rave about it to my friends I never make the effort to review them and sing their praise to the masses. I regularly ate here before the worldwide pandemic and have continued to regularly eat take-out...food during the pandemic either collected from or delivered. The Sunday roast is sublime with us ordering almost every different meat for Sunday lunch a fortnight ago and their lunchboxes are awesome - we've had a selection of vegetarian and meat lunches today. Such creative and tasty food provided by such a wonderful team led by Jodie - an awesome person! Love them. Love their work.More
We've had deliveries from June Plumb several times over the last year. The food is so good, consistently delicious.
It's really easy to order using the Web site, there is a good selection on the menu, reasonable price and its delivered on time.
Really lovely staff and welcome, nice vibe and decor in the building. Really good selection of Vegan options. Unfortunately If you are expecting authentic Caribbean cooking and flavours you are going to be left wanting. The Jerk marinade was far from the Jerk flavour I...was expecting. I couldn't feel the warmth of scotch bonnet or hit of pimento, it was more like a lightly seasoned gravy. The banana blossom fish tasted like the brine it comes in, I think it needed to be drained and dried better. I haven't had fried dumplings or Plantin deep fried in such a way before it was all a bit greasy and crispy. The Mac and Cheese had a brown tint across it and tasted like vegetable stock. I can see how this food might appeal to people who haven't really had much Caribbean food, and I do understand appealing to a mass market, but its not for me.
The positive side was the homemade drinks were absolutely lovely and I would recommend them if you do try this place.
With a few tweaks this could be a really good spot, but as it stands its not for us at the moment.
All the best!More
